Noontime Recital Series
The series resumes on Thursday, December 7, 12.10 pm, with the Trinity Handbell Choir performing music of the season.
· December 7 – The 8-ringer Trinity Handbell Choir will kick-off the Advent section of our noontime recital series with a program of seasonal music. Music includes: Christmas Bell Fanfare by Douglas Wagner, “O come, O come Emmanuel” arranged by Hal Hopson, The Carol of the Bells arranged by Charles Maggs, “‘Twas in the moon of wintertime” arranged by Cathy Moklebust, and Silent Night arranged by David Barker
· December 14 – Harpist Elizabeth White will present a program of seasonal favorites. Elizabeth is a 19 year-old college student, Melbourne resident, who has performed throughout the Space Coast and now brings her considerable talent to Vero Beach.
· December 21 at 12 Noon – A Festival of Lessons and Carols for Christmas, performed by the Indian River Charter High School Chorus, under the skilled direction of Gary Miller. Fresh from another successful appearance in Carnegie Hall, this choral ensemble is already acclaimed for its vocal blend and beauty. The Chorus will sing unique choral carols for Yuletide, as well as leading all in singing the ever-popular carols that make this time of year so special! Trinity’s Pastor Valerie Balius will officiate and read the scriptural readings that retell the “reason for the season.” This service will last one hour and begin at 12 Noon.
