Interested in Becoming a Member of Trinity?

Do You Question Whether You Already Are?

Why is it important for you to be a member of Trinity Church?

Church membership can be the first step to a committed walk with Christ. It may also nurture a feeling of family and oneness.

Membership entitles you to vote at annual and special meetings. In order to become a member of Trinity one should:

 — have been baptized in a Christian church, with a record of same in Trinity’s register
 — have received Holy Communion at least three times in the preceding year
 — be sixteen years of age or older
 — be faithful in attending corporate worship unless unable for good cause
 — be faithful in giving, working, and praying
 — and, as a result of the above, be registered at Trinity as a communicant

Why is it important to be a confirmed member of Trinity Church?

Confirmation is a rite of the Church which expresses a mature commitment to Christ. We receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by the Bishop.

When confirmed, you also become eligible to serve on Vestry. A Vestry member’s role is to represent the parish and provide leadership and communication.

Please call the Church office at (772) 567-1146 to verify your membership status or obtain confirmation information.
