The Trinity Choir

The 40-voice Trinity Choir provides the primary musical support of the services at Trinity. The Choir sings the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays at the 9 o’clock service and each week at the 11 o’clock service, choristers normally singing one service or the other. The combined Choir also sings during the summer months and on special holy days and an occasional Sunday afternoon Evensong, as well as our annual Advent concert.

The combined Choir rehearses weekly on Wednesday evenings during the school year, from 6:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. This rehearsal is essential to prepare the exciting repertory of anthems, much of it from the rich library of the Anglican musical tradition, which our parish seeks to sustain and nurture. On Sundays, choristers warm-up at a brief rehearsal that begins at 8:15 a.m. for the 9 a.m. service and at 10:25 a.m. for the 11 a.m. service. New members are needed, desired, and welcomed, even "snow birds" who can sing only a few months a year or if your travel/work takes you away on a regular basis. All that is required is the desire to sing praises to the Lord and that you can carry a tune. Ability to read music is desirable, but not required. If you are interested in joining the Trinity Choir, you are encouraged to call Brady Johnson at 772-567-6596 for more information.
